Matte Martinez

Matte Martinez is an American actor, singer, dancer, and composer best known for starring as Michael Jackson in MJ The Musical on Broadway. Raised in New Jersey, he began his performing career at age ten touring with Kidz Bop. He later appeared on television in series such as The Good Doctor and Disney’s Saturdays, alongside co-writing music for High School Musical: The Musical: The Series. Martinez made his Broadway debut in late 2023 as a standby in MJ The Musical. After two years, he took over the lead role full-time, receiving acclaim for his vocal talent and choreography.
