Lucy Penrose

Lucy trained at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts.

Highlights of her work include playing Judy Garland in Judy! (The Arts Theatre, Hippodrome Theatre, Southwark Playhouse), Madge Hardwick in Top Hat (Royal Court Theatre), Mrs Cratchit / Ghost of Christmas Past (Sh!tfaced Showtime) and working as Crookshanks #2 in HBO’s Watchmen series.

Lucy was nominated for the 2023 OFFIE’s for Best Supporting Performer in a Musical, for her role as Sleepy in the RVT’s production of Cracked. She wrote and appeared in Above The Stags panto at Wonderville, Puss in Boots December 2023
