Ian was born in Glendale California and moved to Wales at the age of five. He was accepted onto the postgraduate course at the prestigious Royal Academy of music at the age of 17. Ian is the youngest person to have ever completed the postgraduate course as an undergraduate. In 2017 Ian was made an associate to the Royal Academy of music.

After completing the course in 2000 he went on to landing roles in Stephen Spielberg’s band of brothers & Ridley-Scott‘s Black Hawk down. Ian has starred in numerous TV, theatre & films including EastEnders, The Bill, Casualty, Holby city, Spooks, Doctors and Crash. With over 40 movie credits, he has also appeared in numerous theatre productions around the world like Jesus Christ Superstar as Judas, My Fair Lady as Freddie And Grease as Danny Zuko. Ian performed in Wondeful town in La Scala Milano and Teatro Petruzzeli in Bari.
