Daniel is perhaps best known for starring alongside Emilia Clarke and India Varma in Chekov’s THE SEAGULL which premiered in 2022 at the Playhouse Theatre. Daniel was lauded for his leading performance in TEENAGE DICK (2019) which received critical acclaim, The Guardian’s Michael Billington describing his performance as “dazzling”. Daniel also appeared in National Theatre’s THE NORMAL HEART (2021) which focused on the rise of the HIV/AIDS epidemic in New York City between 1981 and 1984 through the eyes of writer/activist Ned Weeks (Ben Daniels), the gay founder of a prominent HIV advocacy group. Time Out described Daniel’s performance as “a tour de force moment”.
In 2026 Daniel will join the cast of the highly anticipated GAME OF THRONES spin-off A KNIGHT OF THE SEVEN KINGDOMS as Ser Manfred Dondarrion, a knight of House Dondarrion of Blackhaven. Adapted from George R.R. Martin’s novella The Hedge Knight, the series will follow the adventures of Ser Duncan the Tall and his young squire, Egg, set roughly 100 years before the events of GAME OF THRONES and a century after HOUSE OF THE DRAGON.
