The Taming of the Shrew – Associate Schools Festival

This tale of gender, social roles and love is explored by local schools through ensemble and choral work. The Taming of the Shrew questions what equality means and looks like, and holds up a mirror for us to see how far we have come (or not) since Shakespeare’s day. Each school takes a collaborative approach to storytelling, using the opportunity to give a voice to the wider company while creating a clarity and energy in the telling of the narrative.
