Bronx-born Popa is one of the rising blues stars of the new millennium. Originally part of the New York Punk Scene, Popa has always loved the blues and his raw, urban New York version features awe-inspiring guitar work, self-penned lyrics and influences including everything from [Willie Dixon] and [Robert Johnson] to rock and funk.
