Down for the Count’s Soul Essentials present an evening of soulful sounds from the likes of Aretha Franklin, Amy Winehouse, Camila Cabello, Stevie Wonder and many more.

Known throughout the UK for their sensational swing and soul shows, Down for the Count regularly perform sold-out shows at Ronnie Scotts Jazz Club, Pizza Express Jazz Club, Le Caveau de la Huchette in Paris and at London Jazz Festival.

On Saturday 15th February they are bringing their stripped back show Soul Essentials show to Studio 5ive. Featuring the beautiful vocal sounds of lead vocalist Hannah Castleman and the exquisite tenor saxophone playing of Alex Western-King, the Soul Essentials show is the perfect accompaniment for a Saturday night dinner.

You can expect to hear well-known classics alongside lesser-known gems as the band perform some of the best music of the 20th century.
