In the Winter Wood

Listen to winter stories from around the world, sing-along and shake your shaker to Jan Blake’s newly devised interactive story In the Winter Wood.

Together with Apples and Snakes we have commissioned a new work by contemporary storyteller Jan Blake. In the Winter Wood is a tale of friendship and working together with Pig and Goat meeting Goose, Hare and Cockerel on a journey after running away to avoid becoming a winter feast. The stories that these animals share along the way will explore cultural, winter traditions from around the world. This devised new story will be a cosy immersive experience for our younger audiences with the Adventure Theatre being transformed into a winter woodland.
