Backed off the Board

Cheltenham Racehorse Festival, 17th March 1966. Arkle is odds-on favourite to win a third Gold Cup in a row and all is pointing towards another historic day at the races. But when the Queen makes a surprise visit, all hell breaks loose in the form of sabotage, a kidnapping, helicopter rescues, a giant hammer and gallons of Guinness. Will racecourse chairmen Martin and Pope be able to make amends in time for the Gold Cup? Or will this be a day the Queen never forgets for all the wrong reasons?Part of Lambeth Fringe Festival
