A Christmas Carol – A play with music

About the Show

Dicken’s original story of Ebenezer Scrooge and the ghosts of Christmas past, present and yet to come. This story has been adapted many many ways but the true magic and the great mix of fright and delight comes only from returning to the original.

A new adaptation – with music – of this most beloved Dickens Tale: The tree is decked, children are dreaming of the day to come, goodwill is flowing to all men – except one. For Ebenezer Scrooge, Christmas Eve is the bleakest, darkest and most unwelcome time of the year, probably the worst apart from the merriment that will inevitably follow the next day, However this Christmas Eve will be unlike any he has experienced before. Tonight Scrooge will visited by four ghosts who will make him confront memories from his past, present and a chilling future. Come dawn will he be able to change his selfish ways? Will he learn about kindness, compassion and a love for his fellow man, and above all – will he see the true meaning of Christmas? You need to join us at a very festive Bridge House Theatre to find out.
