About the Show
Tai Murray and Silke Avenhaus transport us to Norway with Grieg’s second violin sonata composed in ‘the euphoria of my honeymoon’. Accompanying this is Saint-Saens’ sonata for violin and piano, a piece known for its fiery moto perpetuo finale. To complete the programme, Murray and Avenhaus will perform Beethoven’s complex and masterful ‘Kreutzer’ sonata.
