Director Kip Williams, whose current West End production of Dracula stars Cynthia Erivo, makes his UK opera debut with Angel’s Bone. This production marks the continuation of his long-term creative collaboration with Olivier award-winning designer, Marg Horwell.
Starring Swedish vocalist Mariam Wallentin and Scottish tenor Matthew McKinney, Angel’s Bone uses 360-degree staging and projections to put audiences at the centre of the story.
Angel’s Bone is an English National Opera production in collaboration with Factory International and BBC Philharmonic Orchestra, who will be conducted by RNCM alumni Baldur Brönnimann. The chorus will be performed by Manchester based ensemble, Kantos Chamber Choir.
Angel’s Bone is suitable for ages 18+ and depicts themes of human trafficking, sexual exploitation and violence.
