About the Show

Before Stanley Tucci became a household name with roles in blockbuster films such as The Devil Wears Prada and The Hunger Games, he grew up in an Italian American family that spent every night around the table.

Join the award-winning actor and food obsessive for two intimate live events at The London Palladium, as he celebrates the publication of his heart-warming new memoir, Taste – taking us beyond the recipes and into the memories that inspired them.

Live in conversation with writer and broadcaster Kate Mosse on 3 October, and bestselling author and journalist Dolly Alderton on 4 October, he’ll be sharing anecdotes about growing up in Westchester, NY, preparing for and filming the foodie films Big Night and Julie & Julia, falling in love over dinner, and teaming up with his wife to create meals for a multitude of children. Each morsel of this gastronomic journey through good times and bad, five-star meals and burnt dishes, is as heartfelt and delicious as the last.

With Stanley’s signature wry humour and charm, plus never-before-heard stories, this promises to be a truly entertaining night in celebration of unforgettable meals and the importance of gastronomic joy in life.

Don’t miss the chance to spend an evening with the beloved actor and food enthusiast as he raises a glass (a Negroni, what else?!) to the joys of a homecooked meal, to food, and to life.

Every in person ticket to The London Palladium includes a copy of Taste: My Life Through Food.

For those who are unable to attend either of the live shows, the event on 4 October will also be LIVE streamed from The London Palladium. Worldwide viewing is available and the stream will be available for one week on demand after the initial broadcast, so you can watch at anytime if the initial broadcast time doesn’t suit your timezone.
