The Prophet of Monto – Rehearsed Reading

John Paul Murphy’s gritty monodramacomedy set in Dublin’s inner city wasteland was first performed at New York’s Flea Theatre. Chloe Cattin directs Laoisa Sexton who reprises her award winning role as the cake giving, titular “Zoe” who claims she has special powers and can see into the future and Eoin Lynch who takes on the role of “Larry,” who is dead set on protecting his twin brother and pulling him out from under her bewitching spell. But his plan to save his brother does not go quite according to plan and this f**kd up ménage à trois leads to a highly unusual conclusion.
