Norris’ moving portrait of childhood friendships under strain in adult life is peppered with witty one-liners and underscored by a poignant sense of loss. First performed at the 2015 HighTide Festival, it won a Judges Award at the 2013 Bruntwood Prize for Playwriting.
Luke Norris is a writer and actor. His writing credits include Growth for Paines Plough, Goodbye to All Thatfor the Royal Court and Borough Market. As an actor his theatre credits include The Gods Weep and Days of Significance at the RSC and War Horse at the National Theatre and in the West End. His screen credits include Poldark, The Duchess and Skins.
This amateur production is performed by special arrangement with Nick Hern Books. So Here We Are was performed at the Royal Exchange in 2015, under the Artistic Directorship of LAMDA’s new Director Sarah Frankcom. It was the recipient of the 2013 Bruntwood Prize for Playwriting, an award Sarah set up at the Royal Exchange in partnership with property company Bruntwood.
