Season details:

The Park Theatre’s Summer and Autumn season is as follows:

  1. Conversations After Sex (30 April – 17 May)
    • A sharp and unflinchingly honest play by Mark O’Halloran about unexpected encounters with anonymous strangers in hotel rooms, exploring themes of grief, loneliness, promiscuity, and connection.
  2. Outpatient (21 May – 7 June)
    • An autobiographical comedy about Olive, a self-obsessed entertainment journalist who discovers she has an incurable disease and decides to live her remaining time to the fullest.
  3. Our Cosmic Dust (2 June – 5 July)
    • An English-language debut by Michinari Ozawa, following a schoolboy named Shotaro on an adventure to find his late father among the stars, blending puppetry, illustrations, and video design.
  4. Jimmy (23 June – 12 July)
    • A theatre show by Adam Riches about tennis player Jimmy Connors’ comeback at the US Open in 1991, fueled by ghosts of his turbulent past.
  5. That Bastard, Puccini! (10 July – 9 August)
    • A play by James Inverne about the rivalry between composers Giacomo Puccini and Ruggero Leoncavallo over the love story of La Boheme, exploring themes of professional rivalry and plagiarism.
  6. Park Laughs (20 July – 26 July)
    • A series of comedy shows featuring comedians like Chris Grace, Matt Forde, Joe Kent-Walters, Glenn Moore, Johnny White Really-Really, Chloe Petts, Pierre Novellie, Sophie Duker, Bella Hull, Rob Auton, and Andrew Doherty.
  7. The Gathered Leaves (13 August – 20 September)
    • Directed by Adrian Noble, this play follows the Pennington family as they gather for the first time in 17 years on the eve of William’s 75th birthday, exploring themes of family, history, and expectation.
  8. (the) Woman (24 September – 25 October)
    • A play by Jane Upton about M, a writer and mother whose hit play is overshadowed by motherhood, exploring themes of identity, intimacy, and societal expectations.
  9. Lee (24 September – 18 October)
    • Starring Issy van Randwyck, this play follows artist Lee Krasner as she confronts a local delivery boy about a painting that reveals a painful secret about her late husband, Jackson Pollock.
  10. An Audience with Jonathan Pryce (30 March)
    • A special fundraising event featuring Sir Jonathan Pryce, exploring moments from his illustrious career and supporting Park Theatre’s community work.
