Peter Straker – Sings Brel

Peter Straker is a unique and versatile performer. Credits include Closer (National Tour), Straker Sings Brel (Kings Head) and Assassins (New End).

There was a time you would find Straker recording with his friend and colleague Freddie Mercury, touring with his band singing rock music, and starring on the West End stage (which indeed you still can do), but Straker loves to sing Jacques Brel. Brel’s vivid music is in the hands of a master, his voice caressing and corrupting.
