This is the question we asked internationally celebrated pianist, singer and songwriter – not to mention Crazy Coqs favourite – Joe Stilgoe in 2017. The result was Joe Stilgoe & Friends, and it turned out that Stilgoe has some pretty special friends. Joe’s annual pilgrimage to Crazy Coqs has become a highlight of the spring season, and after three sell-out residencies, he returns this May to officially re-open Crazy Coqs after being forced to close due to covid. Joe’s acclaimed live shows are a mixture of virtuosic musicianship, breath-taking theatricality and interaction with the audience, combining on the spot improvisation and the quickest of wits.
