About the Show

One of America’s best-known playwrights reflect on the nature of reality and the elusiveness of truth. A man seeks a gift for his mistress, but does the shop owner know his story before he tells it? A detective seeks a solution to a murder, but does the woman who holds the key know reality from fantasy.

A double-bill consisting of two short plays for the same two actors, – “Elegy for a Lady” and “Some Kind of Love Story” – it is a witty, pacey, fiery examination of relationships, reality and how others view us, not to mention a quintessentially Miller-esque toying with the traditions of the American crime drama to examine issues of mental health and love that cannot (or possibly can) be.
