Hailing from Wokingham, Berkshire, William Robert Young rose to fame after winning ITV s Pop Idol in 2002, narrowly beating Gareth Gates to the title. Since then he has flirted with an acting and television presenting career whilst recording 4 hit albums and claiming 2 Brit awards.
