About This Show

Lost Dog formed in 2004, their first work Pave up Paradise Burgos won first prize at the International Choreographic competition and second prize at the prestigious Hanover choreographic festival. Since then they have created and toured four full length dance theatre works in the UK and Europe to critical acclaim.

Charles Dickens’ best-known work of historical fiction was published in 1859 and set in London and Paris before and during the French Revolution of 1789. It’s a novel of revolution, love and adventure; even if audiences haven’t read the book this is the show for them. And if they have read the book… this is still the show for them. From the creators of Paradise Lost and Juliet And Romeo, comes a re-staging of Charles Dickens’ classic novel. Featuring live camera work on-stage, and Lost Dog’s acclaimed blend of contemporary dance and theatre, rediscover Dickens’ A Tale of Two Cities from a whole new perspective.
