Healing King Herod

About the Show

King Herod, famed for his Massacre of the Innocents, is now the face of a selfdevelopment pyramid scheme. In this chaotic drag-clown fiasco, the audience begin as soldiers in ancient Judea and transform into modern clients in an interactive group therapy session. Through improvised songs, TED Talk parodies and rousing political speeches, Herod asks the audience to do one thing and one thing only: connect. But who is this healing really for? Expect frivolity, shock and redemption in a show which asks: Who can we trust? What are eggs? Why are you crying? Welcome to your process.
