Half Man, Half Biscuit

This entertaining Liverpool quintet emerged from total obscurity to become a dominant British indie chart regular in the first half of 1986. Having disbanded in 1987 the group reformed in 1990 displaying a marked progression in song writing and performance, with a fine mix of hard rock and soulful ballads. Though their work is becoming more polished and sophisticated they have retained their sense of the absurd.
