The Pajama Men have won so many awards it was only a matter of time before they finally made it to the West End; and so 45 theatregoers made their way to the Charing Cross Theatre last night (19 January 2012) to catch them in action.

Over the last several years, the pair have won numerous comedy awards and have made quite a name for themselves at the Edinburgh Fringe. Many of the theatregoers who joined us last night were long time fans of the duo, but others wanted to see what the hype was about.

The Pajama Men’;s newest show, In the Middle of Nowhere, is eighty minutes of breakneck speed comedy, featuring many sketches which together make up a ridiculously hilarious plotline. Including such characters as the rare South American bird, the time travelling spaceman and an alien (and its forehead), the show goes from crazy to bizarre to downright insane, all the while being achingly funny.

It was great to meet both Mark Chavez and Shenoah Allen after the show, where they told us tales of how the couple in the front row who are encouraged to ‘make out’; sometimes get a bit friskier than they expect!

As always, please feel free to email your comments and thoughts
about the play, as well as any of your favourite insights from last
night to feedback@whatsonstage.com. We would love to hear from you.
