In our latest Two-Ticket Tuesday, you can win two tickets to Death Note: The Musical.

Our running competition from WhatsOnStage is where you, our lovely readers, have the chance to bag two FREE tickets (and sometimes some extra special bonus prizes) to all manner of shows across the UK.

On special Tuesdays or Thursdays, we’ll announce the show in question and let you take part – so make sure you keep your eyes peeled for future chances over the coming weeks and months.

This week, WhatsOnStage readers have the chance to win two tickets to see Death Note: The Musical at the Barbican Theatre, playing for a special limited season.

Based on the manga by Tsugumi Ohba and Takeshi Obata, the musical features music by Frank Wildhorn, lyrics by Jack Murphy, additional lyrics by Morgan Reilly and a book by Ivan Menchell.

The story follows Light Yagami, a student who discovers a supernatural notebook that can kill anyone whose name is written inside it. After using the notebook to target criminals, he attracts the attention of the detective known only as L, leading to a battle of wits between the two.

First produced in Japan in 2015, the musical has since been staged in Japan, South Korea and Taiwan. It was previously seen in London in concert form at the London Palladium in 2023.

What’s more, successful entrants will also win a tote bag, stress ball and water bottle – not too shabby!
