”The Fix” actress shows us around her dressing room at the Union Theatre
Lucy Williamson is currently playing the role of Violet Chandler in The Fix at the Union Theatre. Reviewing for WhatsOnStage Alun Hood described her performance as "one of the most exciting musical moments on any current London stage". Her previous theatre credits include Merrily We Roll Along, Snow White and The Good Person Of Sichuan.
Lucy took us backstage at the Union Theatre to show us around her dressing room.
LW: I keep a picture of an Olivier Award in my dressing room because it's my dream to win one. I like looking at it and keeping the dream alive! Can I have one please? 😉
LW: This is a picture of my 3 beautiful children: Poppy-Annabelle (9), Saskia-Rose (2) and Sascha-Beau (1). I keep them close to me in my dressing room, even though they're being tucked up in bed by my wonderful husband come show time.
LW: Here is my wig. This is my transformation into Violet Chandler. This, and my pearls. I absolutely ADORE playing her, she's a dream role and I'm loving every minute.
LW: This is our 'treat box'. We all put things in and use it to help on low energy days. You'll also find us (cast) playing games quite a lot. We're a tight cast and all get on very well indeed.
LW: This little beauty is our NERF gun. It comes in extremely handy when the boys decide to come in without knocking. They soon learn! #naughtyboys
LW: Complete with with several pairs of tights and my current book. I didn't leave any dirty washing in there for the pic! 😉
LW: We all pretty much share the dressing rooms here. We are always in and out, so here is the lovely cast saying hello to you all!
The Fix runs at the Union Theatre until 6 August.
