The ”Beautiful” actress takes us backstage at the Aldwych Theatre
Cassidy Janson is currently starring as Carole King in Beautiful – The Carole King Musical at the Aldwych Theatre. Her previous acting credits include Tick Tick Boom (Menier Chocolate Factory), Avenue Q (Wyndhams Theatre) and Wicked (original London cast, Apollo Victoria Theatre).
We caught up with her to find out which six items she couldn't live without.
CJ: My bed. Got my little cot to snooze on between shows. It gives me enough energy for the evening show after a busy matinee!
CJ: My make-up. Need I say more? Obvious what this is for although thankfully the make-up is not too heavy for this role. My make-up area is organised chaos!
CJ: My Ioniser, I love my it. It cleans the air and kills any bugs. I add some essential oils to it so that my rooms always smells nice.
CJ: I always drink coffee to wake me up before a show and I always have organic coffee as I think it tastes nicer. It's my rocket fuel.
CJ: Vitamin C. This stops me picking up any nasty bugs going around. This is my favourite brand as you absorb 98 per cent of it!
CJ: This is my new favourite thing. Blowing in to a straw in a jar with water in it before a show really helps relax my larynx. Not sure how it works but it really does. I love it!
