Kevin Spacey is having another busy year. Between filming series of his hit US TV series House of Cards, he's returned to London to promote his new documentary Now: In the Wings on a World Stage, about his collaboration with Sam Mendes on Richard III.

He's also starring in his first one man play at the Old Vic, where he's been artistic director for ten years, about radical US lawyer Clarence Darrow – a man he has portrayed twice before on screen and stage.

As he prepares to step down from the helm of the historic theatre next year, we caught up with him to talk legacy, future plans and play a quick game of 'House of Cards or Shakespeare?'…
