A new face will be leading the show across the remainder of its tour

A casting update has been given for the ongoing UK tour of Top Hat.
Produced by Kenny Wax and Jonathan Church Theatre Productions, the stage version of the 1935 Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers film features Irving Berlin standards including “Cheek to Cheek”, “Let’s Face the Music and Dance”, “Top Hat, White Tie and Tails” and “Puttin’ on the Ritz.”
Currently appearing aree Phillip Attmore as Jerry Travers, with Emma Williams as Madge Hardwick, James Hume as Horace Hardwick, James Clyde as Bates and Alex Gibson-Giorgio as Alberto Beddini.
From 13 March, Nicole-Lily Baisden will be stepping into the role of Dale Tremont, taking over from Amara Okereke in the show.
The touring company also features Lindsay Atherton, Rhiannon Bacchus, Jeremy Batt, Freddie Clements, Pedro Donoso, Bethan Downing, Autumn Draper, Tilly Ducker, Zak Edwards, Maddie Harper, Stuart Hickey, Laura Hills, Connor Hughes, George Lyons, David McIntosh, Jordan Oliver, Emily Anne Potter, Joe Press, Molly Rees Howe, Kirsty Sparks and Toyan Thomas-Browne.
The production is directed and choreographed by Kathleen Marshall, with music and lyrics by Berlin and a book by Matthew White and Howard Jacques. The creative team includes Peter McKintosh (set design), Yvonne Milnes and Peter McKintosh (costume design), Gareth Valentine (musical supervision), Stephen Ridley (musical direction), Chris Walker (orchestration and arrangement), Tim Mitchell (lighting), Paul Groothuis (sound), Natalie Gallacher for Pippa Ailion and Natalie Gallacher Casting (casting), Carol Lee Meadows (associate director and choreographer), Cameron Wenn (associate director), Ben Davies (associate set designer), Imogen Clarke (associate lighting designer), Rich Pomeroy (associate sound designer), Luke Holman (associate musical director) and Richard Pitt (resident director and choreographer).
The 2026 tour will be visiting Birmingham until tomorrow night, before heading to Aberdeen, Norwich, Salford and Southampton. It will also have a season in Paris later this spring.
