It is now booking until 6 February 2027. The musical features music by Elton John, with lyrics by Shaina Taub and Mark Sonnenblick, and a book by Kate Wetherhead. It is directed and choreographed by Jerry Mitchell, with set design by Tim Hatley, costume design by Gregg Barnes, lighting design by Bruno Poet, sound design by Gareth Owen and casting by Jill Green.

The production premiered at Theatre Royal Plymouth between 6 July and 17 August 2024 before transferring to the West End. It is produced by Kevin McCollum, David Furnish and Jamie Wilson in association with Theatre Royal Plymouth, and presented by special arrangement with Buena Vista Theatrical.

Based on the 2003 novel by Lauren Weisberger and the 2006 film adaptation starring Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway, Emily Blunt and Stanley Tucci, the story follows aspiring journalist Andy, who begins working for fashion magazine editor Miranda Priestly and finds herself drawn into the demands of the industry.

A sequel film is also due to be released this summer.
