The Commitments has extended its run at the Palace Theatre to 13 September 2015.

Producer Phil McIntyre said: "We're extremely happy to announce that The Commitments has extended its current booking period for the second time to September 2015. The response from audiences has been quite incredible and we are thrilled the show will continue its residency at The Palace Theatre."

Adapted from Roddy Doyle's prize-winning novel, The Commitments tells the story of Jimmy Rabbitte, who shapes an unlikely bunch of amateur musicians into an amazing live act, the finest soul band Dublin has ever produced.

It was previously booking until 19 April 2015.
