The 26th Annual WhatsOnStage Awards concert ceremony – in photos

The London Palladium paid host to musical theatre’s finest last night as the WhatsOnStage Awards lit up the West End!

In addition to awarding trophies to our winners, the annual event featured performances from beloved shows. The Awards Concerts are known for their exclusive, one-off numbers, which have included sneak-peeks, new melodies and re-orchestrated versions of contemporary classics, performed by some of the most notable stage names appearing in theatres around the world.

This year, performing alongside the 24-piece orchestra were new musicals 13 Going On 30 the Musical, Hercules the Musical, Paddington The Musical and The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind, as well as Hope Mill Theatre’s smash-hit revival of Young Frankenstein. 

Hosts, Gina and Mazz Murray, also opened the show with a dazzling take on Raye’s “Where Is My Husband”, three Christine Daaés honoured The Phantom of the Opera’s West End anniversary to end proceedings.

And if that wasn’t enough, we revealed the cast of the upcoming High School Musical revival live on stage – and even got a performance out of them!
