Teresa Banham and Greg Hicks to star in Will Eno's The Open House in Bath and London

The cast has been announced for Will Eno's The Open House, which opens at Theatre Royal Bath's Ustinov Studio on 29 November.

The show will star Teresa Banham (A Chorus of Disapproval, Heresy of Love) as Mother, Greg Hicks (Richard III, The Tempest) as Father, Lindsey Campbell (The Harvest) as Daughter, Crispin Letts (The Entertainer, An Inspector Calls) as Uncle and Ralph Davis (King Lear) as Son. Directed by the former artistic director of the RSC Michael Boyd, the award-winning play will transfer to London's Print Room at the Coronet from 18 January. Eno's piece won the Obie Award for Playwriting in 2014 when it debuted Off-Broadway.

The show is a darkly comic twist on a conventional domestic drama, with the Mother and Father celebrating their wedding anniversary as circumstances go awry.

The show marks the second piece in the Ustinov Studio's season of international premieres, following on from Daniel Kehlmann's Christmas Eve, which opened at the venue last night. You can read our review of the show here.

Many previous shows from the Ustinov Studio have transferred into London, most recently being Laurence Boswell's Trouble in Mind, starring Tanya Moodie, which opened at the Print Room in September.

The Open House runs at the Ustinov Studio from 29 November to 23 December, with previews from 23 Novembers. It will transfer to the Print Room at the Coronet from 18 January to 19 February.
