The actress is being forced to step out from the show until further notice
Tamzin Outhwaite has been forced to withdraw from the production of Stepping Out in the West End.
The actress was due to open in previews this evening at the Vaudeville Theatre, but has had to step down from the role of Mavis due to a foot fracture.
Anna-Jane Casey will temporarily join the cast from next week to replace Outhwaite, while Katie Verner will play the role until Casey takes over.

Amanda Holden, Natalie Casey, Tracey-Ann Oberman and Nicola Stephenson make up the rest of the cast alongside Judith Barker, Jessica-Alice McCluskey, Sandra Marvin, Dominic Rowan, Janet Behan, Suzy Bloom, Emma Hook, Marcia Mantack and Nick Warnford.
Stepping Out is directed by Maria Friedman and Richard Harris' play follows eight characters who decide to take tap classes in the evening in a north London church hall.
Stepping Out runs at Vaudeville Theatre from 14 March to 17 June , with previews from now.
