The musical, which opened in the West End this month, will hold auditions in Manchester
Andrew Lloyd Webber's new show School of Rock is on the lookout for child stars for the West End run of the show.
Open auditions will be held in Manchester on 4 December at the Lowry, for children to form future casts for School of Rock in 2017.
The show is looking for boys aged 8 to 12 years old who can play either the guitar, piano, keyboard or drums and girls of the same age who can play bass guitar or who have exceptional vocals.
The auditions will be held at the Lowry Arts and Entertainment Centre and will begin at 10am and close at 6pm on Sunday 4 December.
School of Rock opened this month at the New London Theatre with David Fynn as Dewey Finn, the dropout rocker who pretends to be a supply teacher and puts together a band with his pupils.
The rest of the cast includes Florence Andrews as Rosalie Mullins, Oliver Jackson as Ned Schneebly and Preeya Kalidas as Patty Di Marco.
