The Royal Shakespeare Company has announced its upcoming London season at the Barbican, featuring two returning productions from Stratford-upon-Avon.

The season opens with Wendy & Peter Pan, adapted by Ella Hickson and directed by Jonathan Munby. It runs from 21 October to 22 November 2025, and features RSC associate artist Toby Stephens as Captain Hook.

The creative team includes choreographer Lucy Hind, composer Shuhei Kamimura, sound designer Christopher Shutt, lighting designer Oliver Fenwick, video designer Taiki Ueda, fight director Terry King, casting director Annelie Powell and associate director Ellie Taylor.

The second production will be a transfer of the recent production of Twelfth Night, directed by Prasanna Puwanarajah – which we’ve covered in detail here.

As already revealed, the RSC will also bring its production of Titus Andronicus, directed by Max Webster, to Hampstead Theatre from 5 September to 11 October 2025. Simon Russell Beale leads the cast. The production previously played in Stratford and continues the company’s partnership with venues across London.

Elsewhere in the capital, the RSC’s co-production of Born With Teeth by Liz Duffy Adams will open at Wyndham’s Theatre on 13 August, starring Ncuti Gatwa as Christopher Marlowe and Edward Bluemel as William Shakespeare. The RSC continues its West End presence with My Neighbour Totoro, adapted by Tom Morton-Smith, and Matilda the Musical, which remain in performance.

Public booking for the Barbican season opens on 17 July 2025, with priority access for RSC patrons and members from 9 July. A new family ticket offer will be available for selected performances.
