The actress will perform in a one off concert staging of Rodgers and Hammerstein’s classic
Actress Rosalie Craig is to star in a new one-off concert staging of Rodgers and Hammerstein's musical South Pacific.
Following Smiles of a Summer Night which will take place on Sunday, Alex Parker presents the evening, which will feature his 32 piece orchestra led by Emily Davis. The show will run on 15 October at 6.30pm at Cadogan Hall.
Craig, whose previous credits include The Light Princess and The Threepenny Opera will play Nellie, with further casting to be announced.
Set on an island in WWII, South Pacific tells of two parallel love stories and features songs including "I'm Gonna Wash That Man Right Outa My Hair" and "Happy Talk".
The musical was adapted from the Pulitzer Prize winning novel Tales of the South Pacific by James A Michener. This concert version is adapted by David Ives.
