The stars turned out to see Rhys Ifans star as Scrooge in Jack Thorne's adaptation of A Christmas Carol at London's Old Vic.

Frank Skinner, Nigel Lindsay and Debbie Kurup all joined the cast of the production to celebrate the show, which will run across January.

Ifans stars as Ebenezer Scrooge in Jack Thorne's new adaptation of Dickens' classic.

Matthew Warchus directs the piece which has been reworked by Thorne for families or those aged 11-plus. The show is designed by Rob Howell with sound design from Simon Baker.

A Christmas Carol runs at the Old Vic until 20 January.
