Ralph Fiennes will star in Ibsen's The Master Builder at the Old Vic Theatre next year, according to the Daily Mail.
Fiennes will play Halvard Solness, an architect in a small Norwegian town, in the production which will form part of Matthew Warchus's first season as artistic director of the theatre.
It will run at the Old Vic Theatre in January and February 2016.
Fiennes, whose film roles include Voldemort in the Harry Potter franchise and more recently The Grand Budapest Hotel, is currently starring in Man and Superman at the National Theatre.
He is also "in talks" to star in another classic at the Almeida Theatre sometime in the next couple of years, directed by Rupert Goold, according to Baz Bamigboye.
