Olivier and Whatsonstage.com Award-winner Rachel Weisz has apparently agreed to lead a revival of David Hare‘s 1978 play Plenty. According to the Daily Mail, the production, which could open in late 2011, will be directed by David Leveaux (Arcadia) and produced by Robert Fox, who said: “it could be New York or it could be in the West End. It’s down to theatre availability, and where Rachel wants to be.” The play centres on Susan Traherne, a former secret agent who finds herself struggling with the mundaneness of her post-war life. A separate revival is being directed by Thea Sharrock in February as part of Sheffield Theatres’ David Hare season.
