Plan B to perform gig at Shakespeare's Globe this summer

British hip-hop artist Plan B will perform a one-off gig at Shakespeare's Globe this summer.

Best known for tracks including "Prayin'", "She Said" and "Ill Manors", the BRIT Award winner will perform at the theatre on 24 July.

Last week, Plan B released the video for his new single "In the Name of Man", which is taken from his fifth studio album due to be released later this year.

The Globe have also announced that Ivor Novello Lifetime Achievement Award recipient Nitin Sawhney will perform at the Globe in August.

Sawhney has released ten solo albums in a career spanning the last two decades, and has composed the soundtrack for Andy Serkis' Jungle Book film, which will be released next year.

Plan B will perform at Shakespeare's Globe on 24 July, and Nitin Sawhney will perform at the theatre on 21 August.
