Kwame Kwei-Armah’s production runs at the Donmar until 3 December
Kemp Powers' One Night in Miami received its UK premiere at the Donmar Warehouse last night, and guests including Harry Potter and the Cursed Child star Sam Clemmett and Olivier Award-nominee Natalie Dew were on hand to help celebrate.
Other guests included Don Warrington, Ron Cook and Phyllida Lloyd.
Powers' play is a fictional account of a night in 1964 in which boxer Cassius Clay celebrates his heavyweight title win with activist Malcolm X, singer Sam Cooke and football star Jim Brown.
Kwame Kwei-Armah directs David Ajala, Francois Battiste, Sope Dirisu, Arinzé Kene, Dwane Walcott and Josh Williams.
One Night in Miami runs at the Donmar Warehouse from 11 October to 3 December.
