The show continues its west London run
Come Alive! The Greatest Showman Circus Spectacular has announced it will extend its run at the Empress Museum in Earls Court until 27 September 2026, marking the production’s fourth extension.
The show will also welcome a coterie of new performers this autumn, ahead of its one-year anniversary and the upcoming Halloween special Come Alive!… Or Dead!! (running 22 to 31 October).
Among the new cast members is Urdang graduate Anoushka Tandon-Sangar, who will make her professional debut in the lead role of Max, a shy circus enthusiast discovering her true potential. She will be joined by international circus performers Tara Talland (NoFit State, Troupe Vertigo, Revel Puck Circus), Ebony Gumbs (NCCA), Sam Barnes, and Nathan Briscoe, who joins from Cirque du Soleil.
Kai Hou, who holds the Guinness World Record for most back handsprings in a minute and has performed with Cirque du Soleil, Britain’s Got Talent, the Brit Awards and Les 7 Doigts de la Main, will take over the role of Ringmaster.
Returning performers include Dean Murrell, Jimmy Wong, Bella Diosa, Eric McGill, Josephine Urry, Jackie Le, Antino Pansa, Tybald Griesbacher, Roman Karpovich, Sam Nash and Keiron the Mighty, with Shona Morgan also returning to the company.
The singing line-up will expand with Maia Hawkins, Greg Oliver (The David Bowie Show, The Rock’n’Roll Alien), and Deshawn Gordon. Simon Bailey continues in the role of the Showman alongside Whitney Martins and Giovanni Spano.
The show’s dance ensemble welcomes Rachel Gardiner, Ethan Brenchley and Elliott Brady, who will join Emma-Louise Stansall, Maisie Axton, Genie Gledhill, Mia Jayne, Ebby Sama and Ross Wilkins.
Inspired by The Greatest Showman and featuring the music of Benj Pasek and Justin Paul, the spectacle combines West End talent with international circus acts. Audience members are invited to explore the Empress Museum before taking their seats under the 700-capacity Big Top.
The production is conceived and directed by Drama Desk Award-winning creative director Simon Hammerstein (The Box, Queen of the Night, Usher’s My Way Las Vegas residency). The creative team also includes music producer and Olivier Award nominee Matthew Brind (Paddington 2, Just For One Day, Legally Blonde), choreographers Jerry Reeve (Taylor Swift, Platinum Jubilee Party at the Palace) and Lukas McFarlane (Strictly Come Dancing, So You Think You Can Dance?), Emmy Award-nominated lighting designer Adam Bassett for Woodroffe Basset Design (The Rolling Stones, London 2012 Olympics, Adele), set designer Ruby Law (Billie Eilish, Sadler’s Wells), costume designer Susan Kulkarni (The Peripheral, Dirty Dancing – Secret Cinema), art director Mika Handley (Aladdin – West End, Guardians of the Galaxy – Secret Cinema), with casting by Pearson Casting (Starlight Express, Six).
Produced by Outside The Box Amusements and TSG Entertainment, the piece is inspired by the 20th Century Fox motion picture The Greatest Showman (story by Jenny Bicks, songs by Pasek and Paul).
A Disney stage adaptation of the Greatest Showman film is also due to open in Bristol next year.
