The event takes place later this month

Rob Houchen and Jordan Luke Gage have joined the line-up for the Phoenix Arts Club’s upcoming West End gala fundraiser, set to take place on Monday 20 April 2026 at the Phoenix Theatre.
The event will bring together a wide-ranging roster of cabaret performers, comedians and West End names in support of one of central London’s last remaining independent performance venues.
Houchen and Gage appear alongside performers including Christina Bianco, musical comedy duo Flo and Joan, comedian Clinton Baptiste, influencer Henry Calvert, and WhatsOnStage Award-winning West End performer Jeevan Braich, all of whom have donated their time to support the fundraiser.
The gala forms part of an urgent £100,000 campaign to secure the future of The Phoenix Arts Club, which operates as a Community Interest Company. All profits from the evening will be reinvested into sustaining paid opportunities for performers and maintaining the venue’s programming.
A large ensemble of performers from across the cabaret and variety circuit is also set to appear, including Adam All, Ada Campe, Andromeda, Apple Derrieres, Bloody Bones, Cleopantha, Daniella D’Ville, Dave The Bear, Demi Noire, Fou Fou Kaboom, Jo Foley, Jools, Mat Ricardo, Meghan Reign, Michael Twaits, Rebecca Gilliland, Ryan Yeomans, Sarah Rose, Sebastian Angelique, Stephanie Ware, Thommy Girl, Tracey Collins and Vanity Von Glow.
Regular Phoenix Arts Club fixtures Gotta Sing! and Sing Out, Louise! will also feature as part of the evening, with musical direction by James Doughty. Support also comes from the Noël Coward Foundation.
Founded in 1988, the Phoenix Arts Club is now facing an uncertain future as rising costs and venue closures continue to impact the West End and Soho.
Creative Director Colin Savage said the initiative is about “protecting paid work for artists” and “defending independent creative spaces in central London,” adding that the loss of such venues risks undermining the infrastructure that allows performers’ careers to develop and thrive. Further guest performers are expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
