Michael Ball has set plans for a new album and a UK tour in 2026.

Glow, his 23rd solo release, is scheduled for early next year and will feature original material. Alongside the album, Ball will tour across the UK from late August. The run begins in Cambridge on 26 August and continues to Ipswich, Oxford, Birmingham, Liverpool, Bradford, Sheffield, Hull, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Newcastle, York, Manchester, Stoke-on-Trent, Leicester, Nottingham, Milton Keynes, Brighton, Bristol, Southend, Bournemouth, Torquay and Cardiff, concluding with dates in London and Portsmouth at the start of October. The London date takes place at the Palladium on 1 October.

Ball said today: “There’s probably only one thing I enjoy more than being in the studio — writing, producing, and singing songs with people I love — and that’s taking it all out on the road and performing those songs as well as all the old favourites to the audiences I love. I hope you enjoy the new album, and I hope you come to see us on tour next year. It’s going to be an exciting year, and I can’t wait to see you all.”

It’s been a busy period for Ball, celebrating the 40th anniversary of Les Misérables this year, with the 40th anniversary of The Phantom of the Opera following next year (Ball was the first takeover Raoul in the show).

The album can be pre-ordered via the Michael Ball store, with advance tour access available from 3 December at 9am.

General sale opens on 5 December at 9am through LiveNation. Preferred tickets for Mastercard cardholders are also available at the same time.
