Welcome to the WhatsOnStage Podcast!

This week, chief critic Sarah Crompton goes to @sohoplace to talk to writer David Eldridge about his two plays running in London at the moment: End at the National Theatre, the completion of his two-hander relationships trilogy, and The Spy Who Came In From The Cold, the first adaptation of a John Le Carré novel for the stage.

Eldridge remembers his experience meeting the spy-turned-novelist, as well as the feeling upon completing a ten-year journey with the Beginning, Middle and End trilogy.

Crompton and editor-in-chief Alex Wood host a weekly series on all things theatrical. News, views, frank exchanges and lists offer an unmissable guide to what’s happening on stage (and in film and on television) now, in the past and in future.

The podcast can be listened to on various streaming platforms – including Apple Podcasts and Audible. Make sure you subscribe so you never miss an episode!
