Stars from the Royal Court’s history turned out last night to appear at The Bash, which was staged as a 60th anniversary fundraiser
The Royal Court's fundraising gala took place last night at the venue in Sloane Square to celebrate the theatre's 60th birthday.
Stars from the theatre's history including Maxine Peake, Kenneth Cranham, Andrew Scott, Meera Syal, Stephen Rea and many more took to the stage in a gala performance. Prizes included a one-to-one acting class with Peake, dinner with Stephen Mangan and Tamsin Grieg and an exclusive Harry Potter and the Cursed Child experience with director John Tiffany.
We spoke to a handful of the actors, directors and writers at the after party about why the Royal Court is so important in the British theatre landscape.
