Further casting has been announced for Chichester Festival Theatre's new summer season, with Matt Lucas making his Chichester debut as Bill Snibson in Me and My Girl.

Lucas joins the company of Daniel Evans' new production to play the Cockney barrow boy, who discovers he's an earl. He joins Caroline Quentin in the musical, which has a book and lyrics by L Arthur Rose and Douglas Furber and a revised book by Stephen Fry. The show runs between 2 July and 25 August.

Patricia Hodge will also star in the 20th anniversary revival production of Michael Frayn's Copenhagen as Margrethe Bohr, which is directed by Michael Blakemore. She joins a cast including Charles Edwards and Paul Jesson for the show, which runs between 17 August and 22 September.

Tracy-Ann Oberman is to return to the theatre following her appearance in Fiddler On the Roof last year, to play Monica in Noël Coward's Present Laughter. The production is directed by Sean Foley and runs from 20 April to 12 May. Rufus Hound is also included in the cast.

The new season at Chichester Festival Theatre was announced last month and also includes a revival of Flowers For Mrs Harris, new play The Watsons by Laura Wade and Enid Bagnold's play The Chalk Garden.
