Disney has released two songs from the upcoming film Mary Poppins Returns, which opens next month.

Emily Blunt stars as Mary Poppins opposite Hamilton creator Lin-Manuel Miranda, who plays Jack. The film also features Colin Firth, Meryl Streep, Angela Lansbury, Ben Whishaw and Emily Mortimer.

The two tracks are entitled "Trip a Little Light Fantastic" (performed by Miranda, Blunt and the company) and "The Place Where Lost Things Go" (performed by Blunt).

Released in December, the sequel will also see the return of Dick van Dyke and features a number of original songs composed by Marc Shaiman (Hairspray).

It follows the Banks family decades after Mary Poppins' original visit, formerly played by Julie Andrews.

The film will be released on 21 December 2018.

Earlier this year it was also announced that Mary Poppins would be returning to the West End in autumn 2019.
