Johnny Flynn and David Morrissey will reprise their roles at Wyndham’s Theatre
Following its critically acclaimed world premiere at the Royal Court, Martin McDonagh‘s Hangmen will transfer to the West End, playing at Wyndham's Theatre from 1 December – 5 March.
Directed by Matthew Dunster, the play centres on the "second-best hangman in England" in the wake of the 1964 outlawing of capital punishment.
Reece Shearsmith will not appear in the West End production due to filming commitments, however David Morrissey and Johnny Flynn reprise their roles, other casting to be announced.
The production at the Royal Court has design by Anna Fleischle, lighting by Joshua Carr and sound by Ian Dickinson for Autograph
